To mark the Leap Year, Harrogate Neighbours will use the extra day to do what it does best – care for the community. As our doors are open, 24/7, 365 days a year, it felt only right to celebrate the additional day with a community wide, feel good initiative.
We are going to deliver 29 freshly-cooked meals to 29 of our longest-standing Harrogate Food Angels customers. Our chef will volunteer his time to cook up the extra meals which will be delivered free of charge to the chosen customers. As the Leap Year falls on Saturday (29th February) we’re looking for volunteers to join our team to hand-deliver the meals in time for lunch!
We would love everyone connected to Harrogate Neighbours’ to join us on the day providing an extra pair of hands to support our on-going mission to deliver care in the community.
