We are seeking fun, organised, and hard-working Activities Coordinator to join our team at Heath Lodge Community Haven.

Hours: Part Time (20 hours)
Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
Start Date: Immediately

 

What you’ll be doing:

As the Activities Coordinator for Heath Lodge Community Haven, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to coordinate and run activities and events for elderly residents. The role has a real customer service focus, and the person in post will be responsible for planning and coordinating resident activities, ensuring they are inclusive, safe, and enjoyable.

The Activities Coordinator main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing a calendar of events and activities for regular and one-off occasions
  • Organising tailored activities for residents, considering their needs and abilities
  • Arranging materials, space, and staff support, working closely with the Registered Manager
  • Encouraging participation from all residents with the support of the Care Team
  • Providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors at Heath Lodge Community Haven

What we are looking for:

Essential requirements:

  • Organised and a real planner
  • Experience working with elderly cliental
  • A creative individual
  • IT literate
  • Collaborative approach to tasks and planning
  • Fun, engaging, and kind personality

Desired requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (or a demonstration of transferrable skills)
  • Knowledge and experience of risk assessments
  • Experience making posters and engaging graphics (we use Canva or Microsoft tools)
