The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Community Engagement Officer (and Fundraising) to promote the organisation and its work to key stakeholders across Harrogate and surrounding areas. This position requires a confident, approachable, and warm individual to raise awareness of the organisation’s reliance and need for community support. The Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer will also increase resident and client engagement with activities that promote their mental, physical, and nutritional wellbeing.

This role requires someone who has a lot of energy, is reliable, and confidently uses initiative! The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in achieving fundraising targets and securing donations from a diverse range of sources alongside leading on fundraising growth, helping to support a new five-year strategy across the organisation.

The job requires the post holder to be a self-starter who can manage their workload and be willing to get stuck in during this exciting time for Harrogate Neighbours!
