The Cuttings is designed to have space for everyone to live as they please, with dignity, respect and happiness. Our 55 apartments are bright, inviting and homely, providing quiet, individual homes for our residents to live in and make their own. Easy accessible by wheelchairs, each apartment is just a few minutes away from the main social areas.
On the ground floor we have several event spaces, our day care centre rooms, a spa and salon, a large TV room and our fabulous restaurant 'The Dining Car'. In these spaces, residents can socialise and enjoy each others company, sit and read, enjoy great home cooked food, and much more.
Heath Lodge Community Haven
Heath Lodge Community Haven provides residential and specialist dementia care for older people in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.
With 28 private bedrooms, shared living spaces and outdoor areas, Heath Lodge is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive home for people who need additional care in later life.
Our person-centred approach means we take the time to understand every resident as an individual, including their personality, interests, preferences and routines. This helps us provide care that is personal, meaningful and tailored to each person's needs.

Food Angels
Our meals on wheels delivery service is based in Harrogate and delivers freshly cooked, hot, healthy meals to your front door. All our meals on wheels are prepared from fresh ingredients in our kitchen, and our catering team are dedicated to creating a variety of nutritious and filling meals.
Delivered by our 'Food Angels', each meal comes packed in a microwavable container, meaning they can be eaten then or later in the day.
Our 'Food Angels' are volunteers that are trained to ensure our customers are feeling well. Each volunteer is DBS checked and are able to provide excellent company to the customers on their rounds. Our service provides peace of mind for family members, because if you can't always be there, we can.
Day Centre
Our day care provides an inclusive day of social interaction for our guests where friendships can be made and recreational activities are tailored to the needs and interests of individuals.
We offer a warm, safe and welcoming environment with a range of stimulating activities, day trips and access to our beautiful gardens.
Our staff are trained to the highest levels and are experienced working with older people. We provide quality care with compassion and patience.
We will provide access to balanced meals and snacks that meet the dietary requirements and preferences of our guests, which will include a delicious 2 course meal and plenty of cups of tea!
Greenfield Court Care
Greenfield Court Care provides personalised home care for older people living in Harrogate and the surrounding area.
Our home care service helps people continue living independently in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes while receiving the support they need.
Care can be tailored to the individual and may include help with personal care, daily routines, meals, companionship and other aspects of everyday life.
As part of Harrogate Neighbours, Greenfield Court Care is connected to a wider range of services for older people, including residential care, dementia care and community support. This means we can help individuals and families explore different care options as their needs change.
Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub
Established in 2024, The Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub is a place where you can pop in and say hello, have a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and ask for any help you may need.
Spread across 2 floors, there are 6 tables, a small café area, as well as remote working locations, a sharing library and a local noticeboard.
Since we opened, the Hub has become a space for friends to meet up and enjoy each others company in a welcoming and happy environment.

We strive to help the people we work with feel at home in our care, so whether you are looking for meals for elderly people, carers to provide home visits and help with staying at home, or residential homes for elderly and vulnerable people, we have what you need.
We have been in the area for close to 60 years now, and we are incredibly proud of the difference we make to peoples lives. Our residents, customers and tenants are all treated with kindness, honesty and trust because we approach the topic of care with the respect it deserves.
The realisation that a family member (or you yourself) may need some extra help can be daunting, but Harrogate Neighbours has colleagues in place to help with every step of the journey. Whether you just need some lunch making for you or round the clock care, we can help.
The services we provide
We have 2 main elderly care sites, one in Starbeck and one in Boroughbridge, both in North Yorkshire. These sites are staffed 24 hours a day and have been designed to be comforting, safe and accessible to all of our residents.
We offer a meals on wheels service in Harrogate, Knaresborough and beyond, consisting of deliveries of nutritious hot food and a well-being chat. Our 'food angels' deliver these meals 5 days a week, and are a great source of comfort to people who need the support.
We have a Day Care centre that offers respite to socially isolated individuals as well as family carers, where the participants can engage in games, arts and crafts, days out and making new friends.
We run Greenfield Court Care, a home care service that can ensure people are able to stay at home for longer. We offer health and wellbeing checks, and the team works closely with families to ensure everything is run smoothly.
Finally, we run the Community Hub in Starbeck, which is a source of information and guidance to anyone who has questions about care, finances, mental health and anything else! This space is open for events, meetings, remote working and IT support.
