All of our Meals on Wheels are freshly prepared using quality ingredients in our kitchen and delivered directly to our customers.
Meals arrive in microwavable containers, meaning they can be enjoyed straight away or reheated later if preferred.
With a changing menu and a choice of meals available, Food Angels aims to make mealtimes easier, more enjoyable and something to look forward to.

When a Food Angel arrives at a customer's home, they do more than simply deliver a meal.
Our trained and DBS-checked volunteers bring the freshly prepared meal directly to the door and take the time to say hello and check how the customer is doing.

A Local Meals on Wheels Service Since 2012
Food Angels was established by Harrogate Neighbours in 2012 after the closure of the local council-run Meals on Wheels service created a gap in support for people in our community.
What began as a small local service has grown into an important part of Harrogate Neighbours.
Today, our dedicated team and volunteers deliver more than 100 homemade meals every day to people across Harrogate and the surrounding area.
More than a decade later, our aim remains simple: to provide freshly prepared meals alongside a friendly, reliable and personal service.
Meals, Menus and Delivery
Food Angels makes it easier to enjoy freshly prepared meals without the need to shop, cook or prepare food yourself.
Our meals are prepared in the Harrogate Neighbours kitchen and delivered directly to customers' homes by our Food Angels.
A Choice of Meals
Our menu operates on a four-week rotation, with three meal choices available each day.
This gives customers a variety of meals to choose from and helps make sure there is always something different to look forward to.

Delivered Fresh and Hot
We aim to deliver meals between 11:30am and 12:30pm each day, although delivery times can occasionally vary due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
Meals are delivered in containers designed to help retain their heat and can be enjoyed when they arrive.
If you prefer to eat later, the meals can also be easily reheated in a microwave.
Simple, Transparent Prices
A main meal costs £8, while a pudding costs £2.50.
Customers can enjoy a main meal and pudding together for £10.
