On Saturday 5th July, staff members Jamie and Vic, as well as volunteers from Harrogate Neighbours community hub, were part of Starbeckfest 2025, a collaboration of different businesses, charities and artists from Starbeck and Harrogate.
Designed as a family fun day, Starbeckfest took off in a big way last year and this year was bigger and better than before (and also windier!)
We had a stall set up to talk about the Hub and everything else that Harrogate Neighbours does. We spoke to loads of people from all age ranges about the great services we provide, and were also able to conduct surveys about what more we can offer to Starbeck Residents.
As well as lost of stalls which people could visit and explore, there was live music and entertainment, including a wonderful bubble blower and a shetland pony for children to stroke. The church next door also had activities for children to take part in, and the best thing... it was totally FREE for people to come to! Even our MP Tom Gordon came to show his support!

We are already thinking about some great ways to make our stall even better next year.
