Hospitality Assistant and Food Angels/Meals on Wheels Coordination Assistant

We are looking for a versatile professional to provide dining support for elderly residents and help manage the administrative coordination of our community meal delivery services.

Job Role

What you’ll be doing:

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will support our team of chefs to provide a high-quality service to our residents. You will work closely with the team, as well as independently, to help with all aspects of the services that we provide for our clients, from the front-of-house mealtime service to the back-of-house kitchen assistance. You will be client-facing, serving at lunch and tea times, as well as throughout the day to keep our elderly residents fed, watered, and happy.

As the Food Angels/Meals on Wheels Coordination Assistant, you will assist in handling new enquiries, supporting the volunteers, liaising with clients on their (volunteer’s) behalf, inputting data into the existing systems and providing holiday cover to team members on leave. 

This role is working 9.30 – 14.30, Monday - Friday

£13 per hour.

·       Previous experience in kitchens or café environments (desirable)

·       Customer service experience (desirable)

·       Experience working with elderly clientele (desirable)

·       Versatility in the use of Excel spreadsheets
