What you’ll be doing:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be our new Maintenance Coordinator at The Cuttings.
We are looking for a confident, experienced, and reliable all-round Maintenance Coordinator with a good understanding of the requirements of a large building’s general maintenance. The successful candidate will be reliable and driven and will be confident using their own initiative while working alone as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Coordinator will work alongside the management team, and therefore should be confident at communicating on all levels. The new Maintenance Coordinator will be someone who is willing to go that extra mile for our clients and all who use The Cuttings site.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
· Assisting with the scheduling, managing and fulfilling of general maintenance tasks, fire safety checks, health & safety monitoring, completion of risk assessments and comprehensive record keeping.
· Daily maintaining and checks of the internal and external grounds
· Maintenance and care of machinery (incl. lawn mowers, firefighting equipment)
· Maintenance of HNHA vehicles, ensuring they are clean and refuelled
· Complying with health and safety regulations-while making sure all compliance documents are up to date
· Minor repairs within residents’ apartments, as well as communal areas (e.g., electrical equipment, minor plumbing issues)
· Obtaining quotes and managing contractors
· Working Monday - Friday with occasional weekend support
Skills and Experience Required:
ü Prior professional experience with general maintenance
ü Knowledge and experience of general health and safety precautions
ü Full UK driving license
Skills and Experience Desired:
ü Knowledge of PAT testing
ü Experience working in a care setting
